Project Overview: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) is launching a critical project aimed at developing a sewage pipeline and Interception & Diversion (I&D) structures for Pedha Cheruvu, Mantrala Cheruvu, and Chandan Cheruvu in Saroornagar (M). This project is focused on improving the sewage management infrastructure to protect the local water bodies, enhance sanitation, and support sustainable urban development in the region.
Salient Features:
- Pipeline Work: Installation of 5.7 kilometers of pipeline with a diameter of 1200mm, designed to efficiently collect and transport sewage. This robust pipeline network is essential for managing the area’s sewage flow and preventing contamination of local water bodies.
- Interception & Diversion (I&D) Structures: Construction of I&D structures to intercept and divert sewage away from Pedha Cheruvu, Mantrala Cheruvu, and Chandan Cheruvu.
